JP,

Yes sir! Did some bore sighting before taking it out to the range that afternoon. Put a new Leupold VXIII 3.5X10 30MM Tube Model 54912 on it to get ready for Texas this November.

JP,

I hardly ever use them either. But I guess its there if I ever do. Not bad around dusk when the pigs come out.
Sorry to hear about the gun deal you went through! Wish you the best in the future! I saw your thread and pics on all the rifles you have and you have some nice ones.

JP,That's some good looking old iron you have.

Wambli,The stock on your Kimber is very nicely figured.Did you pay more for that stock?

Sniper,I hope the drought that we're having this year isn't going to ruin the deer hunting this year. All the deer that I've seen around here look pretty pitiful. They look like Ethiopians with antlers.LOL

I really don't have a favorite deer rifle,I just decide on what caliber I want to shoot and then decide which gun in that caliber I want to take. Then grab another one, just in case I need a backup.

No sir. I was lucky enough to have the friendly manager of my favorite gunstore at the time call me when a shipment of Kimbers came in and he let me go through all of them until I found one with a stock that was well above average.
