That's obvious BS since they manufacture the 455 Ultra Lux. That said, their "store" doesn't offer an Ultra Lux barrel set, just Lux, American, Varmint and Trainer. I'd try them again and ask for a technical representative.

if the Trainer rifle you are referring to is the 455 Training Rifle, then it too features the ability to interchange the barrels with other barrels made for the 455 series of rifles.

and MidwayUSA carries the barrels for the CZ 455 rifles. these are factory CZ parts.

I posted this same information on another of your threads.

But there isn't an 28.6" Ultra Lux barrel, which is what the OP wants, being offered at Midway either. Just sayin'.

I may be mistaken but I thought the Ultra Lux was a 452 and isnt available in 455. Bud's has a 452 Ultra in stock about $440. The 455 Training Rifle has a 24.8" barrel.

so the if Bud's has a 452 Ultra Lux, it's an older version of the Ultra Lux and i'm not sure if the barrel systems are the same as the 455.

if the OP wants to be able to change out barrels on a Training Rifle, with one from an Ultra Lux, then he probably needs to get the newer 455 model and a barrel from an Ultra Lux that fits the 455 model.

a link from CZ-USA showing the current models of the 455 Ultra Lux.

OK I missed it when I went looking for it on their website. If the Trainer is a 455 the barrel should interchange if it is available. Personally I have been looking at the Lux with the 20.5" barrel and installing a receiver sight. My youngest grandson now owns my 452 American.

Why would anyone want a 28.6" barrel on a 22lr? That is counter productive to the rounds velocity.
