Not worth it. You can find quality surplus and foreign contract mags with a little searching.

Look for a place called 44 Mag. I found them online and they sell the Springer mags for about $20. They're labeled by the company that makes them for Springfield, so they do say Springfield on them, but they're made in the same place.

The only mags that will work every time are the CMI's (Check Mate Industries).

The best place to get them is 44Mag.com, as mentioned by MattG.

CMI has been the US Contractor for M14 mags since the early 80's.

Don't get suckered by the fake USGI Surplus mags that are flooding the market. Some are CMI's stamped to look like Vietnam era mags, but most are junk.

Here's a link: Wholesale AR15 Magazines at 44MAG.com

Stick with the CMI mags and you won't go wrong.

44mag.com and CMI mag's are the way to go for M1A/M-14 magazines. I just looked at their site and they have M1A/M-14 20 round magazines for $20.49 each.

CMI also has the current government contract for magazines.
