Columbia, SC Winchester model 70

Just read the article "Shooting 70 Years of Model 70s" (p. 50, Jan. 2010 issue of American Rifleman).

Do you have any idea when the new model 70s will be available in retail outlets on the left coast?

I have not seen any place with the new FNH Model 70's I can tell you this they are right spendy when your talking about $1000+ for a factory rifle that is spendy. FNH USA is the best place for information.

Every gun store here in North Texas has them in stock,Cabela's/Ft.Worth has a whole rack of them on display. The Featherweight Sporters are around $799 and the Super Grades are $999-1199 from what I have seen. I just wish they would produce them in a Lefty version.
The fit & finish of them is almost as good as the old ones in my opinion.
