Here's the almost finished version. Built a cabinet around it, locked up. Will stop kids or morons, serious thieves are always going to get what they want IMHO

I am quite fond of the S&W M&P AR's myself. I only see one problem, you need a bigger closet now.

Here is the finished product: includes a simple shelf for ammo/ pistols, a touch activated LED light and as suggested rubberized material for buttstock rest.

Bigger closet, no kidding. My wife's is twice as large and she will take up arms against me if I invade the sacred shoe space
