Semi-automatic, .308 caliber.

My dad's rifle, he asked me to clean it for him, not sure if I can just use my Mosin Nagant's snake bore to do so. Never cleaned a rifle where I couldn't pull the bolt out.

Any specific instructions?

The magazine should have a bolt catch feature to hold the bolt open so yo can run a patch, brush, bore snake, etc. through the barrel.

If you want to clean the fire control group, knock the pins out of the receiver, grab the trigger guard and pull.
