I used a wood burner with a medium pointed tip. I just gripped the stock like I was shooting and out lined my hand then went to work. I picked it up a few years ago at Walmart in the craft section.

I tried to keep the dots close but the tip will slide back into the last spot so I ended up having better results by skipping a space on each row I did then when it cooled I came back and did the spaces I skipped. It worked better for me.

It took about 1hr 45 min start to finish I took my time I had never tried this before. I just traced the pattern I wanted and started doing a section at a time. It came out ok I think I still have to sand the area a little then it's done.
