Yes, free floated, friction bedded, adjustable trigger (down to 2lbs) and fiber reinforced stock the whole nine yards.

I enjoyed shooting my boy's r700. I seen a pretty jacked up documentary on them on Netflix though.

If you are shooting the higher end Remingtons the QC issues might not be hitting you yet, they sold out in 2007 and since then they have been getting worse and worse. 770s don't even deserve to be called a rifle, they are a rattle trap, saw someone fighting with one of those brand new yesterday, the SPS is just bad, they rust like a Chevy Nova here in the south, and the accuracy is bad in general, My brand new CDL would not even chamber a round....ohhhhh I was pisssssssed, that was the last straw for me.

I shot a 770 too and I was either the same caliber or smaller than the 700 and it kicked way harder. Didn't like it.

My brother ignored my advice and bought an R1 1911 and sure enough first time out the stuped thing would not feed, not with 185gr, not with 200gr, and not with 230gr, sent it back to Remington where they did a full rebuild, sent it back and surprise surprise it STILL did not work. And don't even get me started on my buddy's new SPS that was a disaster.
