Cheap bullpup options?
I have bin considering getting into bullpups. I love the concept behind having a shorter gun without sacrificing barrel length. The problem is idk if it will be right for me.
There are not any for rent at any ranges by me. And I can't make a decision just holding one for a few min in my LGS. So are there any cheap options out there I can try. If I don't like it I will just give it to a family member or something. I just don't wont to pay $2,000 for a fn2000 to use as an expat ament.

I had a Bushmaster M-17S. Very accurate, piston driven. Mine was unusual in that it had enough threads to attach a Flash hider. They are NOT lefty friendly. Main problem was smoke would rise out of the ejection port and tear up my eye. I minimized this by using dry lube so there was no oil burning off.

10/22 with a bullpup stock will give you a good idea if its right for you. Bullpup stock is avalible from midway. Also if you don' t like it you won't loose money on the deal.

Handy in size, but not ergonomically friendly for mag changes or lefties or right/left transitions on the fly. If you have a Kaboom it is right next to your face.

Not a bullpup fan.

Walther G22. It's not my favorite rifle, but after a few tweaks, it shoots OK (.22LR).
