Bushmaster ACR
Anybody have any experience with the Bushmaster ACR? I saw them at a gunstore awhile back and had the opportunity to handle one and i think they are awesome, but ive never fired one.
Also ive been playing MW3 and used it in the game, my other question is ive seen that Bushmaster makes them (i handled a bushmaster) but its a remington in mw3. Anybody know which is better?

I don't think there really is such a thing as a Remington ACR. I believe there is some kind of a partnership between the 2 companies as both belong to freedom group I think. My understanding, and I could be seriously wrong, is that the remington R series (their AR hunting rifle line) is made by bushmaster. There's room for a lot of confusion there.

from what i understand the remington ARs are relabeled bushmasters.
video games are not a good sources for gun info.
the acr stands for adaptive combat rifle. however its not very adaptive since parts from standard AR15s dont really swap in well. they are pretty much as is no modding.
my opinion: i found them functional shooters but ergonomically ill-thought out. all the controls are just a little off, putting everything in harder to get to spots than a standard ar15. i found it to be very clumsy especially when wearing a jacket or winter coat or thicker winter gloves. personally i wouldnt waste the money on one when there are far better more ergonomical functional ar15s for half the price

Well thats what i thought. My thinking was it was a bushmaster then will using it mw3 i saw remington on the left side of the receiver (the details are incredible) so i looked it up on google and they look the same. Both are tactical or military type rifles. Also the fn scar looks just like them too but i like the acr the best.
Looks like ill have to wait for the prices to come down, bushmaster has them listed for 2300 just for the basic black rifle with no iron sights. Id love to get the coyote tan one.

Ive been reading more about the Bushmaster acr, apparently its modularity is its ability to change calibers, barrel lengths, and stock configurations in minutes all without tools. It also uses ar-15 mags.

Doesn't the AR already do all that?

To my understanding Remington and bushmaster are the same in a way bushmaster make remingtons AR series but I don't think there is a Remington ACR it's a video game theres no such thing as a sentry grenade launcher either to my knowledge

I had to edit my post, i read his post to fast and missed where he said that he saw the remington label on the MW3 ACR. A sentry grenade launcer would be badass
