Be careful, as a carbine buffer(h3) is not a direct drop in for a rifle length tube. You would have to put a spacer in the tube and use a carbine spring.

I too have heard mixed things about ATI, thats why I wasn't sure. To be quite honest, idk what brand my guy is even ordering. He sure is taking his sweet ass time though. It's been almost a month since he was supposedly ordering it. Hmm we shall see I guess.

Is there a specific buffer kit I need for the magpul prs stock or just any old a2 kit?

Good firearm to pick for your first. This is my first AR, a few friends of mine have built a few, but nothing like how I want to do mine.
