I am left handed too. A few months ago I bought a used Savage 110 in 30-06. It is a left handed model. Really nice rifle. Shoots great. I believe it is available in 308 as well. I really like mine.

This is my version of an affordable left-handed bolt action .308 rifle setup. It is the Savage 10FLP, which is the left-handed version of the 10FP. The scope is a simple Bushnell 6x18 in 50mm. I have around $500 total invested in this setup and it is a real tack driver. Oh, don't mind the NM M1A in the pic. It shoots pretty good also and I use my loads in both rifles. I don't have a lot of money tied up in this setup but more than just a few times I have outshot someone who was using a rifle that cost a lot more than mine.

The stock on my Savage still had the factory molding marks and lines on it. I carefully sanded it before painting it with Krylon aerosol automotive primer, paint and clear coat. After painting I applied a few coats of Meguiar's carnauba wax with much hand rubbing. The satin black coating with a slight wrinkle finish turned out real well. It seems to be pretty durable and has held up well so far. Considering the depth of my painting skills, which isn't much, I am pretty pleased with the job.

I'm looking for the gun to be left handed. So far, I'm looking at the Savage Axis (LH .308) and a Remington 700 SPS (LH .308)
Any other decent firearms around this price and left handed in .308? It will be for target and deer hunting. Thanks
My Nephew last year with my Handi-Rifle in .243 Win., 350 bucks scope & all, and I have one in .308 just like it same price !...........
