Bsa eagale custom
Alright I was at the pawn shop to day lookin and I came a cross a beautiful rifle and it was a BSA eagle Custom rifle chambered in 30-06 so I came home and looked around on the net and I could not fined a thing about but on the gun it said it was made in england

FWIW, BSA (Birmingham Small Arms in England) made several versions of sporting rifles, imported into U.S. around the 60s. I own a BSA 6mm Remington sold under the Herters name. Nice shooting rifle, dispite its trigger which has creep and on the heavy trigger pull side.
I assume your "Eagle Custom" is a mauser type action. Mine isn't. Should be a nice rifle, well made. Don't see the Eagle listed in my 7-8 year old Gun Traders Guide book. Might be a version of the BSA Majestic Deluxe rifle. By the way, own a BSA martini model 12 target 22LR, probably made 1920s-30s. One very nice shooting rifle. |
