Borrowing a rifle
Hey guys,
My buddies are going shooting this weekend, and asked me to come along, but I do not currently own a rifle, I want to but am a tad short on $. So anyway, I want to borrow a rifle from my dad or my boss, but can i legally do that. I live in MA and already have an FID.

Mass laws are terrible! W/ the FID, you are limited to a low capacity rifle. If someone else in your party has an LTC-A let them transport the rifle if it is high capacity(over 10 rounds).

Here is a summery of the "rules"

Yes! You should head north and visit. I'll let you shoot all the evil rifles you can't own in Mass.!

The FTF flunked our Bar Exam.

Only a fool would take legal advice from us.

Taking legal advice from a public forum is only exceeded in stupidity by the people that offer that advice!

If you have specific knowledge on this subject, post a reference.

If no reference, NO Post!

The info comes from here: GOAL Massachusetts. Gun Owners Action League The Official MA. State Firearms Association Of The National Rifle Association

Most of the members from that forum are Goal members. Most of us are not as stupid as you assume! I make it a point to know the laws w/ a Commonwealth that I may travel through. You should do some homework before responding. JP
