Default Blaser?

Can someone please explain the Blaser rifles that are always all over's front page and why are they so expensive? Some of them just look like big ugly pieces of metal (which I know doesn't make it a bad gun)

They are some of the finest rifles out there. They also are great for big game, I'm not talking Moose or Elk. Dangerous game. The R93 is outstanding w/ its' strait pull design.

Blaser firearms are completely hand made gun's.Most are more works of art, than firearms.
Hand engraving, inlayed metal/wood,and some of the rarest/most expensive wood stocks that are available anywhere.

If you think Blaser rifles are pricey, just take a look at a James Purdie & Sons shotgun. They start at a mere $52,000 for their cheap gun,and the standard starts at around $89,000. No those aren't misprints, they cost that much.

Why do Ferrari's and Rolls Royce's cost so much? They are just cars!
Hand built items cost more than a production run item.
