oh, and yeah.....she's a keeper! Not much I love more than an armed woman unless it's an armed woman that "understands" a man's need for 1911's.

She also likes big rifles....but does most of her shooting with a camera when I'm on the bench. Our AR though usually causes a ruckus when I try to take it away from her, or worse, fail to bring enough ammo.

My vote would say yes to a .35 being a big bore.

I like the LAW but it would be tough to carry concealed!

My brother gave me all his guns because he don't use them anymore. One of them was a .444 Marlin.

I wish I had a brother like that.....actually, I wish I had a brother!!

Nice Marlin! I have a 14" .44 Rem Mag Contender barrel that was re-chambered to .444 Marlin by SSK years ago. It's a handful (not ported or braked) but is deadly on steel plates up to 150 yards.

Wambi, That is a georgeous piece of art. I'll bet your targets get well scrutinized when you take it to the range, after all, any gun that pretty better be able to justify all the craftsmanship with tight groups.

My Marlin 1895G 45-70 Guide Gun. I love this gun. I got it on trade for a Bear "The Truth" bow. Using 325gr Leverevolution ammo, I got two pigs with one shot on it's maiden hunt. I'm going to put a big loop lever on it and a nice ghost ring rear sight with probably a fiber optic front. Again, I love this gun.
