Default best bullet weight

What is the best bullet weight for a 1in 14 twist barrel in 22-250?

50grain to 55grain is the best I think it all depends on how accurate it shoots for u to

Thanks guys, I started shooting 55gr vmax and then switched to 50 grain and noticed a big improvement at long ranges 250+ yds. 45 grain factory loads seem to be hard to come by so hand loading may be my only option.

Every gun is different, but the 250 should be able to shoot the 55's well. Twist is only a part of the equation. Stability is achieved by RPM's. A 1-12 .223 is fine with 55's because the velocity is enough to get sufficient RPM's. The higher velocity from the 250 should give enough rotation for the same bullet in a slower twist rate barrel.

50 grain nosler ballistic tips seem to work best for mine
