Awesome Rifle - LOUD NOISE

:)

Here is the SCAR 17. I had a lot of fun with it the other day, giving my new optic for it a good work out, the ELCAN SPECTERDR 1.5-6X optic. Quite a unique piece of gear, standard issue to SOCOM forces using the SCAR 17.

Enjoy.

Still got those gloves... Have you tried fingerless ones?

Amsdorf 05-27-2013 11:38 AM

I like my gloves, they match my shoes and my rifle, and my man purse.

;)

Hey Amsdorf, enjoying your videos on Youtube. The SCAR is a fun gun to shoot.

Gloves are made to protect the hand (cuts, burns and diseases) and/or keep the hands warm. Fingerless gloves defeat the purpose. Now, weight lifters, use fingerless gloves because it protects the palms while holding the metal bar, and gives better grip to the bar. This is why they do not need protected fingers. A shoooter should have their whole hands protected, their eyes protected and their hearing. My two cents. My experience of range injuries for the past twenty years.

Padded Mechanix gloves are the best gloves for shooting I ever owned. They are cheap, not so thick and light. I see a lot of SP/MP using mechanix gloves over here.

I've got the Mechanix gloves too and they are great.

I get a lot of trash talk for wearing gloves on some of my videos, with dire warnings that I'm ruining my ability to shoot in a crisis without gloves on.

Thats not loud, you want to hear loud, try shooting 12 ga., 3.5 '' magnum in a field at nite within a wooded area opened on both ends........:)

Sweet.

Heavy.

Rugged.

It's the right tool for the right job for the guys who are using it in service to our country.

I know its overkill on my SCAR 17, but I just had to have it. I may flip it in a while, who knows, but I'll enjoy it for a while, that's for sure.
