Smith and Wesson almost gave away the whole game to avoid lawsuits by HUD. In fact, S&W were the first to "fingerprint" a new gun by test firing it. Gun makers are dyig to figure out a way to implement smart gun technology. With todays techology most well made guns will out last it's owner. With smart gun technology gun makers can charge as much as a new gun costs to reset the smart chips. Moreover smart gun technology will kill the used gun market.

Yes, the NRA did back the gun control act of 1968. If the gun control act of 1968 had died in congress we would have no gun control today, nor would we need the NRA.

I like how it generalized the M1 as an "assault rifle", but an SKS is only an assault rifle if it has a detachable magazine. The SKS works better with the fixed magazine anyway.

Here's what gets me: I attached a picture of the pistol used to shoot Reagan, Brady. Does that look like an assault rifle to anybody? How/why did this assault rifle crap start anyway?

(I mean, BESIDES a bunch of McDonalds-eatin' wussy liberals)

To quote "chloeshooter" "How/why did this assault rifle crap start anyway?"-

It was started by people that do not know the difference between a spatula and a fly swatter that wanted to draw attention to themselves.
