does it still have the mum? It looks like a flower on top of the receiver?

$500 for parts? No, not worth it unless it's a mint paratrooper. Look elsewhere for parts. Otherwise it's a tomato stake.

Please don`t let that old rifle fade into obscurity, it looks to be mostly all their, redo it if you can, or sell it to someone who will & I am available...........

I reAlly want to get this type 99 shooting but I don't know what necessary tools and parts that I need to get it shooting I am a master automotive technician by trade and I am positive that I can do the work you put together I just need to know what parts I need to get it functioning in and what solvents I need to clean barrel and get the rust and off

First off.. Its a Type 38.

It doesnt look to be missing much... just the bolt spring, safety, and firing pin? How bad is the stock broken? Are you sure its in .30-06?
I would have it checked out by a couple of gunsmiths before you give up on it...

Could we get a pic of the top of the rifle?

I love my Arisakas!
