i saw a guy on gunbroker selling a bushmaster AR for $2500 NIB. didn't look like anything fancy or unusual about it. maybe he's just hopin for a sucker.
none of the stores around here raised their prices one penny. christmas eve i was in our local Runnings farm & fleet lookin around & they had 6 or 7 AR's left. while lookin at other guns one of the clerks took a phone call & told the caller "yeah we have a couple DPMS, Colt, & Bushmaster." after he hung up he said the caller said "i'm on my way, i don't care what they cost." every other gun store in town is sold out of AR's & some sold out of most of their handguns. one store was limiting .223 ammo to 2 boxes per customer & all they had left was some expensive 68 grain hornady costing $1.05 per round. i went over to their reloading section & bought the same bullets, some powder, & primers & it will cost me about $0.30 a round to make the same bullet. sounds like i'm officially starting to reload.
