Don't joke, that is a great idea idea in my opinion. Although i would buy two or three Nagants and cut back to $500 worth of ammo. (Witch at 17-20 cents ppr, you would have well over two thousand rounds.)


Does anyone else feel like we are approaching the point were the Nagant and that old dirty ammo may just start to become valuable within this second term?

If you can't tell I'm hooked on 6.5x55. Very light recoil. You can load down to 100gr or up to 160gr bullets. 87gr are just not accurate past 100 yards.

Choose caliber first and gun second. For universality it'd have to be the .308 mostly cuz u mentioned dear who are usually about the same size as scrub deer...
