Yeah, its subtle but ide rather shoot the .30-06. How do you like the remington 740? I have not had mine long, they were passed down and have not been shot that much.

I love em........until the rails wear out. Then they are pretty much junk even w my considerable welding/smithing talents being used.

I see allot of negative things about them, but there mainly hunting guns and allot of people think there supposed to be sniper rifles or something.

The only negatives I personally have w em, my mentor as well for what its worth, is the rails after alot of wear. Otherwise they are great rifles for hunting. Not as accurate as some but more than enough to fill a freezer

Get a Rogue stock you get 2 rifles for one! Short bull pup for CQ and you cab reach out & touch a target up to 1000 yards and it's an m14 so it has 7.62 x 51 great punching power !

personaly i love my remington sps 700 tactiacl in 308 has the heavy bull barrell and will reach out to 1000 yds if need be. aslo the hoge stack makes life a little easier when your palms get a little sweaty.
