If I owned a nagant it would have to have significant historical value, otherwise I wouldnt want one.

Ya they aren't all that special-unless someones turned one into a unique caliber. That makes em nice then

Awesome guns. Heavy but good. Jist have to place your shots really well and use good ammo for deer. Which isn't hard for deer-alot of different brands for deer/pigs out there for 223

Even better for long range and killing deer. Do you reload? If so you have a reloaders dream in either caliber. 308 has alot of punch and is good for anything you might want to shoot......with the right bullets and careful placement on the bigger varmints that is.
