Brought my friend home last Monday! And was amazed more than expected. In the case was three boxes of Federal GM308M Gold Medal 168gr ammunition. One of the boxes had notes on it that I had written years ago. According to what I was advised I was the last to shoot her! And then this Saturday I took it out to shoot it. It brought back great memories. First 2 rounds at 100 yds touched in the same hole. The third round was 3/16 below the first two and as she always did the fourth round was 1/2 MOA to the right. It always did that when the barrel got hot. AMAZING! Here are some pictures of her!

Wow. That's a beautiful weapon. Congratulations again. That's pretty awesome that you were the last to fire her too.

Sniper, that's great you got your rifle back after all those years! Thank you for sharing the story with us. Amazing, truly amazing!

I had something like that happen last year. Back in 1958 when I was 10 I took my Dad's pre-Model 10 S&W revolver out in the woods and fired it. Got in a little trouble over that but nothing too bad. Years later when he died my Mom sold his guns so they weren't passed down as we hoped. Then years later my sister came across the revolver and bought it (small town but still a long story). During a visit last Oct. I got to fire the S&W again after 54 years! It came in the original box with some of my father's papers!
