Default 8mm Yugo mauser

Need some who can tell me good setup for a scope. Should I cut and re weld the bolt or get a scope that sits off to the side?

If you have a strait bolt, then you have a 24/47. They are considered some of thge most accurate Mausers. Even w/ a side mount the strait bolt will be an issue. I would search for an M48 bolt body and swap the parts over from your bolt.
