Not that I'm lumping you in with them, just wanted to be sure everyone checked the facts before I was bombarded with the "you don't know sh*t about sh*t" comments. Of course you can shoot at 1000 yards with most rifles. I have shot several of my old rifles at the 1000 yard gong at the range. It is amazing how long you have to wait for the bullet to get there when shooting something like a 45-70. Thats why the tang sights have to be so tall.
