I'm sure you are pretty handy with that. There are those on here that seem to start spouting off there opinions without doing the research. Not that I'm lumping you in with them, just wanted to be sure everyone checked the facts before I was bombarded with the "you don't know sh*t about sh*t" comments. Again, not aimed at anyone, just trying to bring relevant info to the OP's question.

For 1000 meters, I always preferred artillery. Like the ad says- "When you care enough to send the very best..."

Of course you can shoot at 1000 yards with most rifles. I have shot several of my old rifles at the 1000 yard gong at the range. It is amazing how long you have to wait for the bullet to get there when shooting something like a 45-70. Thats why the tang sights have to be so tall.
