patrick, MSRP w/ scope and bipod, $796, w/o $649. i would probably buy without so i could put what i want on it, plus i didn't see any brand name mentioned on the scope maker. i like that it uses the AR15 mags, i have many of those!

Vincine I have seen several of Rock River Arms varment rifles with just a trigger change to 3lb shoot factory loads of .223 fed match under 3/4 and home brewed loads under 3/8" at 100 yards. Amassing accurate rilfes. They had RRA wilson arms air guaged 24" barrels. Both had a added adjustable cheek welds added.
So what are these ? .223 or 5.56x45......

303tom The factory loads were 5.56 fed match loads for the 3/4" groups and the rifles are rock river arms varment 24" wison arms barrel with 1-8 twist that use a .223 wylde chamber. The guys shooting them did use .223 federal brass for the hand loads. I know that one guys prefered long range bullet was a berger vld 80gr but he was working with some 74gr something at the time. I should re=read more often. The wylde chamber gives you some freedom to load longer than the .223 chamber. I do not understand the difference enought to explane any better .
