It is a 10 rd. mag., but I have three mags! In NY that's all we're allowed to have anyway, so to me it makes no difference. In an AR we can have pre-ban high capacity mags if they were manufactured before a certain date. Personally, I don't see 10 rounds as a limiting factor in a self defense gun.

Problem is they are ugly as hell and I didn't like them...unless you had them in the ATI stock....but then I noticed this.

The 995TS model

Some people consider the Hipoint carbine "ugly". I'm not one of them. I think the tacticool accessories are an unnecessary waste of money since they do NOTHING for function or accuracy. I've bought lots of guns because they look nice - but I've never not bought one because it was "ugly"...to me at least, price, function, accuracy, and reliability are all that matter in a gun. Magazine capacity doesn't much matter to me as long as it's 10 rds., which BTW in a center fire lever gun is rare. If I was in close combat or part of an entry team with a LE agency I would want as much mag capacity as I could get - because they are the only people that won't end up in jail for excessive force. In real civilian life it's not necessary. Spare magazines supply all the extra capacity that I need.

I disagree.

For a civilian carbine a rail in wanted because a flashlight is highly recommended for something like that.

And a laser would be good to but....I don't like lasers...just flash lights and red dot scopes.

The Sub 2000 wil accept a variety of different semi auto mags depending on the model you get. You're not limited to Glock.

9mm; G17 or 19, P226, Beretta 92, S&W 59
.40; G22, P226, Beretta 96, S&W 4006

Problem is I don't like any of those pistols either.

I'm a CZ man.
