Default 338 win mag

Thanking about getting a 338 win mag for my next gun. Anyone have one and what u thank about it. I don't need one that big but I like big rounds. Its to much for deer where I live but I'm thanking about it hard.

i have a ruger m77 mk2 in .338 win mag and I love it. it is a big heavy chunk of lead flying downrange but it is very predictable in flight and can easily be a 1000 yard gun (the furthest I've taken mine out was around 1200 yards and I had to walk it in)
