Ropinfool you need to attend the Dan Boone school of BP rifles. The soft lead ball fired from a ML rifle will double in size on big game animals. The reason the big slow lead balls were so deadly is that smash and mash.

The high velocty bullet can hold together and deliver heavy shock. The .338 and other heavy rifles kill with out rapid expansion. The reason small bullets must expand is to deliver big bullet shock. The problem is the small bullet will due to the hydraulic effect do more tissue damage. There is a reason that the .338 is so popular with many western hunters.

The Favored gun of mine is the Mark V .257 weatherby magnum fired with 117 grain round nose bullets. The 257 is the perfect all around rifle. It knocks rifles sucb as the .270 and the 30-06 right out of their places. The gun is sided with incredAble accuracy and the range of a 22-250 the rifle can put some of the biggest and heartiest of game down flat. The rifle is sided with unbelievable knockdown power and penetration and not being limited by range or accuracy, this rifle is the king. But the rifle is limited to certain ammo. The other rounds make the rifle almost a .223 but when this rifle is sided with the 117 grain round nose it is almost comparable to a 300 Winchester short mag but with the trophy saving capabilities of the .243. If your looking for a perfect all around
Gun then this gun can take out just about anything you can put in front of it.

Yeah I like savage it has a nice ammo capacity and accuracy actually the first gun I got was a savage .243 but as I started to hunt bigger game I needed a bigger gun. I still use it though. I went on a safari and it was perfect for my warthog and klipspringer

Well that is pretty funny. My mom and dad divorce when I was two. Then my mom met my step dad and I see him as my real dad more than I see my real dad as. I love my step dad, I call him pops, with all my heart
