We are getting off topic here, as hunnting has nothing to do with military or Worst-Case-Scenario, SHTF Day, bug-out ammo supply.
My own brand of paranoia has been reinforced by what I have heard independantly from three fed-LEO; "If we cannot get the guns, get the ammo!"
There just ain't
gonna' be no 'surplus ammo'
That order has evidently come down from the white house, since NObama knows that he will not get the gun & mag bans that he wants.
The tally of ammo bought is believed to be near, if not above
, 2,000,000,000 - that's right BILLION-
rounds that homeland security has squirreled away, depriving not only civilians, but Police Departments nationwide, of practice and duty/protection ammo.
At a gun show today I actually saw people pay 65$ for a 325 round box of .22 lr Winchester, and 100$ for a 500/brick! Them people is nuts!
