Well guess i gotta start practicing. Best I'v done is 500 yards with a .223 mini-14.

If you're familiar with .223, you might want to pick up a 700 Varmint in .223.

You're doing pretty good already if you can hit anything smaller than a garbage can at 500 yds. with a Mini-14! If anyones interested I can PM you with the website/video clip of that Canadian Sniper team making those hits in Afghanistan - It's incredible footage and really shows what .50 cal ammo can do to a human body...

I would personally love to see that video. I have seen other vids of the .50 hitting several things, including flesh, but I haven't seen the Canadian teams shots yet....
