I just received my .308 Enfield 2A1 made in India in 1967 that I purchased, I was about to take it out to shoot but am wondering does anyone have any experience with these?

I don't own an Ishapore yet but I love Enfields, they are some of my favorite guns to shoot. I'm sure you will enjoy your Ishy!

I liked my Ishapore. Look it over carefully and make sure its properly headspaced before you shoot it and AVOID INDIAN SURPLUS AMMO AT ALL COSTS!!!(There have been some rather dramatic problems with the indian ammo!) If its all good it will shoot better than most surplus rifles! Good guns.
