We also tested m24 rifles in 338 lapua in the end the army decided a semi auto platform rifle in a caliber larger than 5.56 was what squad designated marksmen needed and would leave the bolt action stuff to actual snipers

And if your questioning the truthfulness of what im saying here's my old military Id and my disabled vet ID card

**** EDITED **** Photo deleted. Anyone else who saw the photo can vouch for the authenticity, but another service member pointed out that it is not kosher to post public photos of military ID's.
