Yep, and being a 30 caliber, there are tons of variations on bullets and grains to get to choose from.

.300 win mag is my new favorite. Just got my custom. Shot it 4 days ago. It's beautiful.

If there was one perfect hunting caliber such as the 30-06. That would mean there is over a thousand imperfect hunting calibers.

Since we were an MLRS unit there were hardly any calls for rocket artillery so they retasked us as infantry basically making us qrf, armed recon, and doing raids. This was 2003-04 and the sdm program was just starting so they test

Ed different rifle platforms for the program thru us and some other units in Iraq and Afghanistan thus coming up with the m21 ebr
