.22Lr vs. 50 BMG

What's best for squirrel 22 or 50? :)

See when hunting you need the bullet weight same as game your pursuing. So i would choose a 700 magnum

sharpshooter1997 02-03-2013 01:22 AM

What do you us for deer?

springfield45wv 02-03-2013 01:22 AM

102mm cannon

sharpshooter1997 02-03-2013 01:25 AM

Sounds about right I mean I would prefer my deer gun to be a howitzer but it's what ever you think will take your game down.

springfield45wv 02-03-2013 01:26 AM

It depends where im hunting. I use a howitzer for short range

This seams like a joke. But I will play along in case it isn't. Lets put it this way. Depending on ware you live you might go to jail for using a .50 BMG for that.

I prefer 20mm , you wont have to go looking for them :D Hell you wont find much either

.22 is obviously better for squirrel, the most taken game in the US -- a coupla TENS of millions per year. .50 is better for chipmunk, the evil bastards...

Tickle for President. :D That's funny right there.

I generally use a punt gun for squirrel. I don't like to miss.
