I repeat what has already been said...

Only after I followed you here just to post right behind you that what you wrote isn't helpful (because I don't understand things easily) and that you should go away. Then I get frustrated because I am actually on your "ignore list," obviously "act out" further to any Mod who cares not to ignore it all, and finally get axed for a week...

Right about now we demand photos of a Velo dog, and the thread drifts into a debate of whether it is a .22 Velo Dog or 5.5 mm Velo Dog, and whether the Velo Dog can be fired in a .22 magnum rifle.

Two people will resurrect the thread after 3 years, asking if the OP wants to sell his Velo Dog.

Somebody claims the Velo Dog is a European Conspiracy responsible for the shortage of .22 RF ammo, posts a link to Alex Jones Infowars, and has a tantrum when told he is not a supporting member. Three Mods walk him around the corner to show him the new woodchipper down by the lake.

Now, someone starts restarts a three year old argument, and the mods have to warn them to cool it.

10 minutes later.

Chinese spammer posting poetry like crap, full of links for "escorts".

Default This is what I think........

The 458 Winchester is good for small deer and varmits and mostly shot by people who are recoil sensitive. I think its marginal at best on medium sized game and its use on Elk sized game or larger should be met with force. It would be an ideal cartridge to mount a comeback of the Rook or Garden Gun which is used to shoo critters out of the garden

The .22 Velo Dog is suitable for use on all North American animals. With unmatched penetration and explosive expansion it easily sends moose and Grizz to meet their maker. The Velo Dog has been seen on the Dark Continent in search of the Big 5. Unless you have extensive experience with at least the 29gr .22 short it is recommended you don't carry the .22 velo dog.

So, to sum it up. The 458 if you want a glorified, subpar varmiter or a velo dog if you want to take big game. Either on has its supporters and detractors. Its the old familiar argument that may never end.

This is where someone asks you what you are smoking, and where they can but some......

Or where they tell you to put the bong down.
