Default 22 Mag

I have been thinking about a 22 Mag rifle. I don't know why. Anyway, I would like to get a nice semi-auto.. Nothing fancy, plain ole synthetic stock. It needs to be accurite.. Maybe a bullpup design would be nice also.. Maybe a 3 rail system for a scope and laser..

Thanks Guys/Gals...

The only semi-auto 22WMR that I know currently being produced is from Excel Arms.
I don't know how good they function. Most mfg's have given up on trying to get a 22WMR to function in semi-auto mode. They all have feeding/jaming problems.

I have looked at the Excel Arms,it seems to be a well built gun,but I didn't want to spend $500 to find out if it would function correctly.

Why don't you look into gettin a Ruger 10/22 magnum, there great shootin little rifle and you can get just about whatever you want for them, such as bull-pup stocks with a tri-rail fore-end.

AFAIK, the 10/22Mag hasn't been produced for a good while, and they are pretty rare on the used market (hence the aforementioned $750 price tag). Also, I am almost positive that 10/22 stocks will not fit, as the magnum receiver will be longer.

I looked into this really hard a while back, but as has been mentioned discovered few have been able to make one work worth a damn. Kel-tec is supposed to be putting out a .22mag rifle, but it could be a year or two before you could actually get one in your hands. They tend to design a bunch of innovative guns without any practical means to produce them, so we end up having to wait forever lol.

:d you can't go wrong with a lever action .22 mag either. :d
or you you can get a marlin 925 .22 mag. That is a good gun for a
good price still.
