The .220 Swift loaded with a 55 grs. bullet is a great Prairie Dog rifle. The CZ 527 chambered int old .22 Hornet and shooting the 35 gr. V-Max is a good 200 yard rifle for Jack Rabbits.
In the winter months shooting on the High Plaines I carry a HB 25-06. The .25 driving an 87 grs. bullet can take down Grey Wolves at 400 yards.
