Buy this stuff up while it is available. At some point in the near future, I have a feeling Mosin ammo will go way up. Just like .30-06 did.

That's right. 1976. I find it to be some of the finest rounds for my Mosin. I paid 150.00 for the crate. Best bang for my buck. Just have to clean the heck out of it afterwards, which isn't a problem for me.

I have some rounds from 1953 that are in good condition. As long as a round has been kept dry and no oxidation present it will shoot just fine. I keep silica packs in my ammo cans to help keep the moisture away from all of the ammunition.
