Too funny, I just received my same crate of Russian ammo goodness today too! I love buying ammo in wooden crates, it is much more satisfying than cardboard.

Those crates are great for target practice, too.

Why? A can and a rifle are the same price!

Years ago I bought a crate of 30\06, in bandoliers and clips. That's was more fun than a kid should have with an M1, I shot em all up in 2 days. My shoulder was so sore I had trouble moving it.

I still have the clips but I chucked the bandoliers.
