Default 1971 Marlin 444S Value?

I love this rifle and it has been handed down to me,and will never sell it,but I can't help but be curious to what it's worth anyway. Is it a $100 gun,a $300 gun,or something else?I am just curious.

I bought 2 just like that in 1979 for $115 each. There's one for sale in Anchorage in a lot rougher shape for $300. New ones are around $500. Help?

Seen them from around 350 to 500 in good shape. That's a right fine looking one you got there. I've always been partial to those lever actions

I guess all the opinion is that my gun is probably worth about $350 then.I value the bragging rights of it more than the value, and I like being the odd one out.99% of the people I know hunt with 30-06's,.270s etc,Them guys can outdo me in the Michigan fields, but take a walk with me in the thick swamp,or get within 50 yards of a deer and they are the ones undergunned.
