Default 1907-15 help

I just recently acquired one of these riffles from a friend of mine. I don't know a thing about them. I got it more or less just as something to hang on the wall. I have done a little research and all I came up with is confusion. Can someone start by telling me what it shoots. I have seen on the web 8x50mmR and 7.62x54 France. I have also seen that they were made with 3 and 5 round clips

A Berthier & yes it could be chambered in 8×50R or 7.5 French, and not 7.62x54 !.................

OMG Dude, you should be able to tell just by looking, the 8mm Lebel has a Rim Diameter of 16mm, heck thats 5/8 of an inch & a Base Diameter of almost 14mm. A 7.5x54 would get lost in that gaping hole !.............

Well I guess I'm safe to assume this one is 8mm when comparing to a 7.62x51

8mm-lebel.jpg

Note the BIG rim, and the sharply tapering body?

I see. I haven't found much about Thea's guns. What are they worth?
