Default 17 caliber

I am looking for an accurate at long and close ranges, flat trajectory, and fast shooting 17 caliber to go squirrel hunting with. The gun that i have found is a savage 17hmr m93 with a accutrigger and a scope package.

Great gun but for squirrels you will have to take head shots.

Yep. But at 50-100 yards, that is not a problem- you CAN take headshots!

The Savage is a nice rifle at a good price.

Here is mine. The scope is a Bushnell Legend 4.4-14x44mm.

At what distance does your savage become less accurate

I haven't tried to shoot past 150 yards. I mainly shoot between 50-150 yards with it. Maximum effective range would be no more than 300 yards.
