Default Walther PPk/s Refinished after vehicle fire.

So this is a PPk/s that got caught in a vehicle fire. great thing is owner had a rag with a Gatorade bottle on top of it. so when the bottle melted the liquid prevented the damage from getting worse. buffed and polished the whole thing out, went through all the parts making sure everything was within spec. and jeweled the barrel hood, trigger and hammer to give it a little flare.

How much do you like your ppk/s? I bought one recently. Do you reload your ammo for that pistol?

I'm not the biggest fan of the Smith and Wesson copies, not the same quality, and I don't reload only store bought stuff. They aren't horrible it just doesn't have the same quality as the original.

Nice job!

But hope the temper of the metal was not effected? That is the biggest issue with any weapon that has been in a fire. In most cases the heat can change the temper of the metal surfaces.

Just a thought!
