Default thoughts on sw1911sc?

Anyone have one? How do they shoot? How is the concealability and comfort of carry?

Looks like a great gun.. It's sad to see it now 'MA' compliant

I know I was sad to see that as well. I wanted one so bad until I saw that. Its still on my short list but I'm not sure its number 1 anymore especially with that price tag

Otherwise looks like a great gun. I'm sure it functions well and according to that link its fit for SD/HD

I have S&W, they are great guns, but be aware. I posted this a while back.
If you are buying new, I would think SW has the problem cured by now.

From Smith and Wesson
As part of this ongoing evaluation process, we have received reports, in an extremely small number of cases, that the firing pin safety plunger of the SW1911 pistol can become disabled, creating a situation where the slide may jam and render the firearm inoperable. This only pertains to certain Smith & Wesson Model SW1911 pistols bearing serial numbers JRD0000 to JRD4750

What did they have to do to make it MA compliant?
