I have two; a full size and a compact. Both in .40.

The full size is going back to S&W Monday, broke the ejector.

I didn't know they made the SW99. Watched a YouTube video about it and that looks like a really cool gun! But I don't see it on the S&W website so I'm assuming they stopped making it. I wonder why? Looks better than a lot of their current guns and has very cool features. Makes me want to check into the Walthers more.

Don't know why, but it is out of production.

Maybe because Walther doesn't have any import problems now or maybe because S&W feels like it might compete with their M&P line.

Oddly enough, Magnum Research was also producing a P99 clone but I haven't seen any this year. Looks even more like the P99 than the S&W version.
