Shield 9mm vs XDs

I shot both of these for the 1st time today. The Shield was so much nicer! Both were very accurate but the XDs has quite a kick! So much so that it hurt to shoot 5 rds through it. I put a total of 25 through both. Recoil on the Shield was not much worse than my XD9. I did this test to determine which one to buy for my CCL. It's hands down the shield, now to get on a waiting list!

Yep, the Shields are pretty awesome. At last summer's qualification I actually shot a better score during tactical drills with the Shield than I did with the M&P. That says a lot.

Springfield will be out with their 9mm XDs soon which will be more comparable. I have both and like both but the XDs in 45 definately lets you know it's a 45. I'm really looking forward to the XDs in 9mm.

Not sure if your interested, but I had seen someone on here advertise a new website that just started where you buy, sell firearms and things....... The website has a total of 3 guns its so new...... But one of them is a M&P shield 9mm for 525.00. Might be worth checking out for someone looking for a shield. http://www.gunseen.com/category/312/Pistols/listings/112/M-and-P-Shield-9MM-For-Sale.html
