I hate to say it, but Cali voters allowed those tardninnies to

get elected. I'm not a Janitor. Everybody gets to clean up

their own messes...

The only way to clean up the mess in CA is to restore the election of State Senators by county instead of population. CA committed political suicide when they voted that in. CA is a democracy and a democracy can not survive. It will spend itself to death and infringe on personal rights. The majority rules.... Federal Court is your only hope.

Here is some good reading if you are interested in what micro-stamping is all about.

http://www.nraila.org/legislation/state-legislation/2014/1/california%E2%80%99s-microstamping-requirement-bans-sale-of-improved-pistols-dealers-face-shortage-of-handguns-approved-for-sale.aspx

And how long do you think it will take for the BG to figure out how to remove/modify/destroy this stamping?

Got someone you don't like? Take their empties (microstamped) and toss them around at a crime scene

New York will be next with the micro stamp BS. Unless the courts find the Ca law unconstitutional first.

I think S&W and Ruger should be commended for forcing the issue. I might have to support both with a couple of purchases. Think the wife will agree it's the only patriotic thing to do?

I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. I never heard that while I lived there. As long as the transfer was done through an FFL...

This may be the best leverage to get this law repealed. And if it works, I hope it ripples across the country.

Smith & Wesson said it expects sales of its California-compliant revolvers, which aren't required to have microstamping, will offset the impact to the company. Company President and CEO James Debney vowed to continue to work with industry groups to oppose the law, while providing California customers with products that do comply with it.
Is S&W giving up on moving or are they hoping that moving and continuing to offer revolvers will keep their business alive where ever they relocate.

To write off shooters from the republic of Kalifornia, is simply wrong. Their Second Amendment rights are just as important as yours or mine. The Bill of Rights needs to apply to all Americans.
As a senior citizen, I am upset when I see the mess in California. I find it reprehensible that ex-Californians when they relocate want to bring the ideas that are bringing California to its knees with them. For example Colorado is having a war between those in favor of traditional land use and the yuppie crowd (or west slope vs. east slope). Living in Minnesota , there are times (frequently) I wish Minneapolis/Saint Paul could be given away. I don't feel any of us should write off our brothers and sisters in one state because these are battles we all will face.
